Our Chakra Wellness Self-Care Day promises to be a nourishing, inspiring experience, designed to bring care and attention to your mind-body wellness through mindful Yoga and gentle nutritional guidance.
This day will focus on rebalancing and replenishing your Heart chakra - of the seven natural energy centres, this is often the most out of balance for women.
SPEND A DAY WITH US TO:
Discover how the chakras relate to your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness; the life significance they hold; and how they can be used as an intuitive self-care framework to help build a simpler and healthier life from the inside out.
Rebalance your Heart chakra through a restorative day of mindful Hatha Yoga, heart-based energy work, delicious plant-powered food and pure relaxation, all set within a unique eco-retreat setting.
Empower yourself with science-based nutritional know-how, and absorb practical guidance around forming intuitive eating habits, and incorporating foods that nourish the Heart chakra.
Learn to better recognise the initial signs that your body and mind need your care, and leave with your own self-care action plan so you can incorporate the practices and techniques you learn to bring more balance to your daily life.
Even if you have little or no prior Yoga experience, or don’t consider yourself nutritionally savvy, you will find this experience a beautiful introduction.

WHY THE HEART CHAKRA?
There is increasing recognition of the timeless wisdom of the chakras and how they can be used to provide a roadmap to personal wellbeing.
It’s the Heart chakra that helps us to see the world as a warm and friendly place. It helps us to reach out and connect with others in friendship, compassion, and altruistic love.
If you are overactive in your Heart chakra, then you may be directing too much of your love bucket to others to the extent of neglecting your own needs and self-care. If you are under-active, let's focus in drawing more love and positivity towards you. If you're balanced, then taking the time for yourself will help you optimise and maintain your wellbeing.

09.00 Arrival - Teas, super green smoothie and delicious snacks
09.30 Welcome talk and introduction to the chakras as a self-care framework with Sarah & Em, and personal self-care assessment
10.30 Heart chakra Yoga and meditation
12.00 Plant-powered lunch incorporating an introductory talk from the cook and recipes
13.15 Nutrition & Wellbeing workshop focussed on the Heart chakra
14.45 A relaxing Ayurvedic self-massage session focussed on the hands, including complimentary essential oils to uplift the senses
15.30 Guided self-care reflections, daily-life plan and wholesome snacks
16:15 Spa time / journalling / relaxation / opportunity to explore personal questions with Emily and Sarah
17.30 Departures
note: the timetable on the day may vary slightly. Herbal teas, filtered water and healthy snacks will be available throughout the day. Don’t forget to your bring Yoga clothing and swimming costume if you wish to use the spa. Because Woodhaven aim to discourage single-use washing for environmental reasons, please do bring your own towel.
